Dog training & behaviour
There can be many reasons for wanting to use a dog trainer, from something specific like pulling
on the lead and stealing food or objects, to general disobedience and training problems associated with puppies etc.
people generally contact me due to behavioural problems. Issues from separation
anxiety and excessive
barking, to being aggressive or overly
excited towards people, dogs, food or other objects like cars etc. I really enjoy helping people and their dogs with these types of problems, as I feel they can often be the most serious and most frustrating for their owners.
I feel the best way to help with any issues is on a one on one basis rather than classes. This way
you get undivided attention, in your own home at your convenience. This
gives us the best environment to tackle your dogs problems.
I understand that people considering
using a dog trainer could be a little apprehensive as to what methods
they will use. Let me say now I never use choke chains, shock collars or
any other product that could ever be thought of as cruel to dogs. I get
my results from showing you, the owners how to correct unwanted
behaviour along with rewarding good behaviour and ways to control your dog without hardly saying a word!
I
would also like to add that I have no restricting rules for you to
follow, so your beloved pet could still lay on the sofa to watch TV with
you!
